Parameters of the BlueDrive S electric motor from AQUA MARINA

The AQUA MARINA Fusion brand offers two electric paddleboard sets. The original Turbo Go complete set comes in three sizes and can also be combined with the well-known AQUA MARINA Fusion model. The electric motor is attached to the paddleboard instead of the fin at the stern. The battery is attached to the deck and the remote control is attached to your hand.

How long does the battery of an electric paddleboard last?

The battery lasts up to 60 minutes of continuous operation on water, depending on your speed.
Battery capacity: 8.8 Ah
Observations from our testing: 60 minutes of pure operation is not enough for a whole day, but it offers enough time for fun in the bay or for a trip where we use the motor as a handy helper when needed. What is important is the charging time. We achieved sufficient battery capacity after about 1.5 hours. And that's just the right amount of time after a rest to set off for more fun on the water.

How fast does an electric paddleboard go?

Observations from our testing: When reading these speeds, you may wonder if 4-6 km/h is sufficient. The average speed of a person on an inflatable paddleboard is somewhere between 4-6 km/h. When riding an electric paddleboard, you can move across calm water at a speed that you would achieve by paddling hard. Based on our impressions during testing, we were satisfied with the ride and therefore consider the performance of the electric motor to be sufficient.

How is the electric motor attached to the paddleboard?

The motor is compact with a slide-in fin mount. It slides into the fin box from underneath the paddleboard.
The battery is safely stored in a waterproof box, which is attached to the upper deck of the paddleboard at the stern with a spring.
The motor is equipped with a safety leash that shuts off the motor in the event of a fall so that your paddleboard does not drift away. Here, too, we recommend wearing a leash on your leg.
The electric motor is made of high-quality impact-resistant material.
