How to Choose a Paddleboard
Choose your paddleboard based on where you will paddle and your experience level. For beginners and recreational paddling on lakes, the sea, or calm rivers, allround paddleboards are ideal – stable and easy to handle. For longer trips, fishing, or expeditions, we recommend touring paddleboards, which glide better and offer more space for gear.
Other types include racing paddleboards for speed, WindSUP for learning windsurfing, yoga & fitness paddleboards for exercise and relaxation, and kids’ paddleboards for young paddlers.
Also consider weight, stiffness, length and width, fin type, and quality equipment (paddle, pump, bag, leash).
