• paddle solo, in this case just install seat in the center position for best balance
• use the kayak for three persons for a day trip. All the necessary fastenings for three seats are installed. The base set comes with two seats, you can purchase an additional seat when needed.

Safety and reliability.

The kayak has a collapsible design and consists of two parts - inflatable side tubes with a tension bottom and a high-pressure inflatable bottom made of high-pressure material (inflatable frame). Due to this design, the kayak is very passable and can easily go through external natural obstacles that may be encountered during the journey. When hitting logs or blockages, when rafting on rocky or shallow rivers, the bottom is not damaged, it simply absorbs shocks, so you do not have to do repairs in the open air. This model is very reliable.

 On the main sides there are safety valves that regulate the pressure inside the side tubes during hot sunny days. These relief valves will save you from worries about whether you have pumped up the kayak enough or forgot to bleed the air in the side tubes during a halt.

2. Seakeeping performance. Sometimes there is a turbulent weather and waves on the big lakes and sees.. It has been proven that such waves bounce off the high sides of the Spark kayaks much better, so you will feel safe and comfortable. Profiled balloons are a distinctive feature of inflatable kayaks of the Spark series. There is a longitudinal partition, due to which the sides have narrow and high shape.
3. With an outer width of 83 cm, the kayak has plenty of space inside. It is convenient for paddlers with a weight of 120kg, and for loading all the necessary equipment for a week-long trip for two persons. The kayak preforms best with loading up to 260 kg.

• solo option - seats and knee belts should be installed in the central part of the kayak. The 450 cm kayak is well controlled, has an easy and obedient performance. Additional loops on the side tubes for installing the knee supports in the solo position are provided (new revision). When underloaded, it is better to use the skeg to stabilize your heading (there is a pocket for skeg on every model).
• two paddlers - the most standard option for the Spark 450 model. Compact, cozy, fast kayak, the best model for traveling together.
• triple option - for a family holiday format. All fastenings for the installation of three seats are already provided. If you have a desire to paddle three persons together (without equipment) - all participants will feel comfortable and convenient. 
5. Speed characteristics. Kayak with an inflatable frame - although inflatable, it has the properties of a plastic (or frame) kayak and goes quickly and easily. The average speed at the hike is 6.5 km/h. At this pace, you will be pleased to paddle and cover even a long distance. If necessary, the kayak can be accelerated to a speed of 9.5 km/h, but in order to maintain such a pace for a long time, you have to be an athlete :) Marathon speed is 8,5 -9 km/h. 
6. Stability on course is achieved by the V-shape of a high-pressure inflatable with inflatable stems in the bow and stern. A unique development that shapes the contours and gives the kayak rigidity. The stems cut the water well and keep the kayak on course well. 
7. Ease of use. The assembly of the kayak is as simple and intuitive as possible. It will take you no more than 10 minutes to prepare the kayak for paddling.

8. The tandem kayak Spark 450 is packed in one backpack as a standart. The set weighs 22 kg, that complies with air transport standards. You can also purchase extra pack to split the kayak into two backpacks and share the weight with a partner.

Additional accessories.

We have developed several useful accessories for Zelgear kayaks:

• spraydeck made of waterproof Hypora material with sewn-in skirts. Such spraydeck will protect you from splashes and rain, add coziness and warmth in cold weather. It works well in see-journeys (protects from waves). All the needed fittings are already on the kayak - the are PVC triangles on the sides and closed Velcro on the bow and stern.

There are several models of spraydeck for the kayak Spark 450 – spraydeck with one central cockpit for solo paddling, spraydeck with 2 cockpits or spraydeck with three cockpits. 

• U-shaped anodized aluminum skeg adds better stability on course. The skeg is inserted into the special PVC pocket at the stern; when the kayak is inflated, it is rigidly fixed. The skeg is needed more for solo paddling, when the kayak is loaded not enough. 
• there is a fitting on the stern of kayak for installing the rudder steering + PVC base with sewn-on straps, glued  on the bottom of kayak in front ot the paddler for installing pedals or toe supports.
