The GUMOTEX PALAVA inflatable canoe impresses with its sporty appearance and excellent handling. Thanks to its longer hull, it offers plenty of space for luggage and a flexible seat assembly, which, with its width and horizontal attachment, ensures comfortable sitting. When riding in rapids, it is possible to kneel and use the thigh straps. The canoe is suitable for river trips up to difficulty class WW3 as well as for a leisurely tour on quiet natural lakes and reservoirs.

The Palava 400 canoe offers enough space for a couple with equipment for a week, alternatively you can also equip the Palava with a third seat for a child.

We deliver the Palava 400 GUMOTEX canoe in a waterproof bag with a volume of 100 l, including a glue set and push-push valve reducer. Palava can be carried on your back in a waterproof bag, and you can use it to keep all your important things nice and dry during the cruise.

How to choose a canoe and raft paddle?

The length of the paddle  depends on the height of the character, the type of boat and the paddling technique. You can determine the appropriate paddle length by placing the paddle in front of the canoeist. For an inflatable canoe, the paddle should reach between the chin and the nose, for a raft, to the nose. Approximate paddle lengths according to body height (body height / paddle length): 190/165 cm, 185/160 cm, 175/155 cm, 165/150 cm, 155/140 cm.
