The GUMOTEX PALAVA inflatable canoe is eye catching with its sporty look and excellent handling performance. Thanks to its longer hull, it offers a large space for baggage and a flexibility of seat mounting which provides a comfortable seating with its width and horizontal fastening. When riding in rapids, it is possible to kneel and use the thigh straps. The canoe is suitable for river travelling up to the WW3 difficulty class as well as for a comfortable tour on placid natural and artificial lakes.

The Palava 400 canoe offers plenty of room for a couple with a week's gear, or you can equip the Palava with a third seat for a child.

The Palava 400 GUMOTEX canoe comes in a watertight 100 litre bag and includes a glue kit and push-push valve reducer. In the watertight bag, the Palava can be carried on its back and you can keep all the necessities nice and dry during the trip.

How to choose a canoe and raft paddle?

The length of the paddle  depends on the height of the character, the type of boat and the paddling technique. You can determine the appropriate paddle length by placing the paddle in front of the canoeist. For an inflatable canoe, the paddle should reach between the chin and the nose, for a raft, to the nose. Approximate paddle lengths according to body height (body height / paddle length): 190/165 cm, 185/160 cm, 175/155 cm, 165/150 cm, 155/140 cm.
